Keep your soles in pristine condition with our Shoe Brush. This brush is specifically designed to keep the sole in good condition and clean, whilst it can also improve the friction of the sole. Our Shoe Brush features a Velcro flap to cover the brush as an alternative to the case. This makes life a lot easier for the user, as well as means you can no longer lose the case! Our Shoe Brush, featuring sharp, durable wire bristles, is specifically designed to care for the suede soles of your ballroom and Latin American dance shoes. Over time, the suede soles of your dance shoes can become smooth or clogged with dirt and dust, reducing their grip and affecting your performance on the dance floor. This specialised wired brush helps to restore the texture of the suede, enhancing traction and ensuring you can dance with confidence. The sharp bristles effectively remove debris and revive the nap of the suede, making your shoes feel like new again. Regular use of this shoe brush is essential for maintaining the optimal performance of your dance shoes, helping to prevent slips and maintain the precise movements required in ballroom and Latin dance. Compact and easy to use, this brush is a must-have tool in every dancer’s shoe care kit, ensuring your soles stay in top condition no matter how often you hit the dance floor.

How to Brush Suede Dance Shoes

Step 1: Prepare Your Shoes

  • Place your dance shoes on a flat surface so they stay stable.
  • Work in a well-lit area so you can clearly see the suede soles.

Step 2: Use the Brush

  • Take a wire suede brush and brush the sole in one direction.
  • Apply firm, even pressure to lift the suede nap and remove dirt or dust.
  • Pay extra attention to smooth or shiny spots (these areas need reviving).

Step 3: Brush in Multiple Directions

  • Brush the soles again, but this time in different directions.
  • This helps fully restore the suede nap and improves grip for dancing.

Step 4: Inspect the Soles

  • Check that the suede looks lifted and textured.
  • If some areas still look smooth or clogged, brush again.

Step 5: Maintain Regularly

  • Brush your soles after each dance session.
  • This keeps them in top condition and extends the life of your shoes.

Important Notes:

  • Always brush gently to avoid damaging the suede.
  • Use the brush only on the soles, never on the uppers.
  • If your shoes have an XG Sole, be extra careful:
    • Brush only the suede.
    • Avoid catching the stitching near the rubber, as this can cause it to loosen.

Usually ships within 1-2 working days.
