We always advise our customers to go up half a size when buying ladies closed toe dance shoes, for example, Standard Ballroom shoes (especially pointed toe) or ladies Teaching & Practice shoes.

Width Fittings

As all of our shoes are hand crafted in the United Kingdom, we’re able to offer a range of width fittings. Our standard fittings are Narrow, Regular, Wide and Extra Wide, but we can custom make shoes in fittings outside of this scope. See below the full range of fittings we offer, and note the surcharges that apply to fittings outside our standard range.

Each fitting carries around a 0.5cm difference. For instance, a Wide fit is 0.5cm wider than a Regular fitting. An Extra Wide fitting would be a further 0.5cm wider than the Wide fitting. The additional fitting is based on the circumference of the upper and the insole remains the same width throughout the various fittings.
